Michaelle Valbrun-Pope, MS.Ed, is, first and foremost, a public servant. Her service in the community plays out on a personal and professional level. She serves as a volunteer on several local and national advisory boards. She is a certified mind-body medicine skills facilitator, supporting individual and group healing. She is currently the Executive Director of The Center for Family and Community Restoration, a nonprofit organization working to advance the health and wellness of marginalized populations in South Florida. Her past professional roles include Chief Operating Officer of The Valbrun Consulting Group, Senior Advisor & Whole Child Developer with New Teacher Center, and Chief of Student Support Initiatives and Recovery with Broward County Public Schools. Prior to these posts Michaelle worked in various school-based and district leadership roles for Broward County Public School and for New York City Public Schools.
